Article VI
479.41 Duties of commission; rules.
Sec. 1.
The commission shall supervise and regulate the safety of operations of each motor carrier. The commission may promulgate rules for the purpose of promoting safety upon the highways and the conservation of their use.

479.42 Review by department of state police; determination of compliance; report.Sec. 2.
No later than 60 days after receiving a request from the commission, the department of state police shall complete a review of the operation of an intrastate motor carrier to determine whether the carrier is in compliance with applicable safety related laws and rules and issue a report within 60 days after completion of its review to the commission.
