Chapter 171. Of county jails and the regulation thereof.


801.27 Refractory or disorderly conduct of prisoner; authority of jailer to preserve order.

Sec. 27.

     Nothing contained in the 2 preceding sections, shall be construed to take from any sheriff or jailer, any part of the authority with which he was before invested by law, to preserve order and enforce strict discipline among all the prisoners in his custody.
