COUNTY HISTORICAL MATERIAL
Act 254 of 1919
AN ACT to authorize county boards of commissioners to raise money for the collection, publication, housing, or displaying of historical material, bearing upon their county and to foster the historical interest thereof.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

46.231 Advancing historical interests of county; activity or project; appropriation by county board of commissioners.

Sec. 1.

The county board of commissioners of any county in this state is authorized to raise and appropriate money for the purpose of fostering any activity or project which in the opinion of the board tends to advance the historical interests of the county.
