VACATION OR ALTERATION OF STATE HIGHWAY

Act 274 of 1929

AN ACT to prohibit counties, townships, cities and villages from vacating and altering state highways and to repeal certain acts and parts of acts inconsistent with the provisions of this act.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:


250.231 Alteration or vacation of state highway; prohibition.

Sec. 1.

     No county, township, city or village shall vacate or alter the route of or possess the power to vacate or alter any state highway which has been duly designated as such.
