AIDING OR ABETTING VIOLATIONS OF JUVENILE COURT ORDERS

AN ACT to prohibit the aiding or abetting of violations of juvenile court orders or to harbor juvenile runaways; and to provide penalties for violation of this act.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:
722.151 Aiding or abetting violations by juveniles, or harboring runaways prohibited.
Sec. 1.
No person shall knowingly and wilfully aid or abet a child under the age of 17 years to violate an order of a juvenile court or knowingly and wilfully conceal or harbor juvenile runaways who have taken flight from the custody of the court, their parents or legal guardian.

722.152 Violation of act; penalty.
Sec. 2.
Any person who violates the provisions of this act is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $500.00 or imprisoned not more than 1 year, or both.
