REGENTS OF UNIVERSITY; HOLDING OF PROPERTY

Act 36 of 1895

AN ACT to enable the regents of the university to take and hold in perpetual trust land or other property.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:


390.51 Board of regents; holding property in trust.

Sec. 1.

     That it shall be competent for the regents of the university to take, by gift, devise or bequest, and hold in perpetuity any land or other property in trust for any purpose not inconsistent with the objects and purposes of the university.
