House Bill 4711 (Substitute S-1 as reported by the Committee of the Whole) Sponsor: Representative Tom Alley

House Committee: Conservation, Environment, and Great Lakes Senate Committee: Natural Resources and Environmental Affairs

CONTENT

The bill would amend the off-road vehicle Act to permit a dealer who sold, leased, or rented off- road vehicles (ORVs) as a regular business to sell any other license or permit authorized, under State law, by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to be sold by other dealers. Currently, the Act allows ORV dealers to purchase ORV licenses from the DNR and resell them to owners of ORVs requiring licensure.
