CONTENT

 

The bill would amend the Michigan Vehicle Code to exempt from the Code’s registration and certificate of title provisions a new motor vehicle driven or moved on a highway only to move the vehicle from an accident site to a storage location if the vehicle were being transported on a railroad car or semitrailer that had been involved in a disabling accident.

The bill would have a minimal fiscal impact on the State depending on the number of situations that arose, if any, under the provisions of the bill.
