CONTENT

The bill would amend Cemetery Regulation Act to prohibit a registrant from charging a fee to witness the lowering of a casket into the ground.

(The Act does not define “registrant” but does require each individual or business entity operating a cemetery to register it annually (MCL 456.535).)
