ADDENDUM TO SENATE FISCAL AGENCY ANALYSIS OF SB 1026 DATED 5-1-98:


HOUSE COMMITTEE ACTION:


The House Transportation Committee adopted two amendments. The first corrected the spelling of a word to make it singular instead of plural. The second amendment changed the misdemeanor penalty from "not more than 90 days or a fine of $100, or both" to "not more than 93 days or a fine of $100, or both."


POSITIONS:


The Department of State supports the bill. (6-3-98)
