ADDENDUM TO SENATE FISCAL AGENCY ANALYSIS OF SB 1149 DATED 7-23-98:


HOUSE COMMITTEE ACTION:


The House Commerce Committee adopted a substitute for Senate Bill 1149, Substitute H-2, to ensure that an individual who has completed a baccalaureate degree with a concentration in accounting at an educational institution approved by the board may sit for the CPA examination.


POSITIONS:


The Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants supports the bill. (9-23-98)
