A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4710 AS INTRODUCED 4-29-97


The bill would amend the Income Tax Act to reduce the rate of the tax from 4.4 percent to: 4.3 percent in 1997; 4.2 percent in 1998; 4.1 percent in 1999; 4.0 percent in 2000; and 3.9 percent in 2001 and thereafter.
