A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 6089 AS INTRODUCED 9-16-98

The bill would amend the Revised Probate Code to allow a court to recommend mediation of issues involved in protective proceedings and guardianship proceedings before the court. If the parties agreed to have an issue mediated, the court could refer mediation of the issue to a community dispute resolution center or other resource.
