        A bill to designate Michigan state highway M-99 as the

   General John A. Logan memorial highway; and to prescribe the

   duties of the state transportation department.

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 1         Sec. 1.  Michigan state highway M-99 shall be known as the

 2    "General John A. Logan Memorial Highway".

 3         Sec. 2.  The state transportation department shall provide

 4    for the erection of suitable markers upon the highway indicating

 5    the name of the highway.
