HOUSE BILL No. 4945


     June 19, 1997, Introduced by Reps. Baade, Agee, Martinez, Lowe, Hanley, Goschka, Jellema, Llewellyn, Brater, Hale, LeTarte, Green and Voorhees and referred to the Committee on Transportation.


        A bill to designate a bridge on highway M-120 within the

   city of North Muskegon as the Leonard "Bud" Jaeger bridge; and to

   prescribe the duties of the state transportation department.

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 1         Sec. 1.  The bridge on highway M-120 over Cedar Creek by the

 2    veterans memorial park causeway within the city of North Muskegon

 3    shall be known as the "Leonard 'Bud' Jaeger Bridge".

 4         Sec. 2.  The state transportation department shall provide

 5    for the erection of suitable markers at each approach to the

 6    bridge indicating the name of the bridge.
