        A bill to amend 1941 PA 107, entitled

   "An act to authorize township water supply and sewage disposal
   services and facilities; to provide for financing of those serv-
   ices and facilities; and to prescribe the powers and duties of
   township boards with respect to those services and facilities,"

   (MCL 41.331 to 41.350t) by amending the title, as amended by 1989

   PA 83, and by adding section 20u.

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 1                                  TITLE

 2         An act to authorize township water supply and sewage dis-

 3    posal services and facilities; to provide for financing of those

 4    services and facilities;  and  to prescribe the powers and duties

 5    of township boards with respect to those services and facilities;

 6    AND TO PRESCRIBE PENALTIES AND PROVIDE REMEDIES.

 7         SEC. 20U.  A PETITION UNDER SECTION 20S, INCLUDING THE

 8    CIRCULATION AND SIGNING OF THE PETITION, IS SUBJECT TO SECTION

 4    DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION IS SUBJECT TO THE PENALTIES PRESCRIBED

 5    FOR THAT VIOLATION IN THE MICHIGAN ELECTION LAW, 1954 PA 116, MCL

 6    168.1 TO 168.992.

 7         Enacting section 1.  This amendatory act does not take

 8    effect unless Senate Bill No. _____ or House Bill No. _____

 9    (request no. 02378'97) of the 89th Legislature is enacted into
