A bill to amend 1939 PA 147, entitled "An act to provide for the incorporation of the Huron-Clinton metropolitan authority; to permit the counties of Wayne, Washtenaw, Livingston, Oakland, and Macomb, or certain of such counties, to join in a metropolitan district for planning, pro- moting, and/or for acquiring, constructing, owning, developing, maintaining and operating, either within or without their limits, parks, connecting drives, and/or limited access highways; to pro- vide for the assessment, levy, collection and return of taxes therefor; to provide for the issuance of revenue bonds; to autho- rize condemnation proceedings; and to provide a referendum thereon," (MCL 119.51 to 119.61) by amending the title and by adding sec- tion 12. A PETITION UNDER SECTION 11, INCLUDING THE CIRCU- 10 LATION AND SIGNING OF THE PETITION, IS SUBJECT TO SECTION 488 OF 11 THE MICHIGAN ELECTION LAW, 1954 PA 116, MCL 168.488.
