HOUSE BILL No. 5375

        A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled

   "The revised school code,"

   by repealing section 1279 (MCL 380.1279).

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 1         Enacting section 1.  Section 1279 of the revised school

 2    code, 1976 PA 451, MCL 380.1279, is repealed.

 3         Enacting section 2.  This amendatory act does not take

 4    effect unless Senate Bill No. ________ or House Bill No. ________

 5    (request no. 04972'97 a) of the 89th Legislature is enacted into

 6    law.
