        A bill to amend 1961 PA 236, entitled

   "Revised judicature act of 1961,"

   by amending section 6235 (MCL 600.6235).

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 1         Sec. 6235.  (1) The statute of limitations BEGINS TO RUN

 2    UPON THE LATER OF EITHER OF THE FOLLOWING:

 3         (A) THE DATE OF THE JUDGMENT.

 4         (B) THE DATE THE JUDGMENT DEBTOR LAST MAKES A PAYMENT TOWARD

 5    SATISFYING THE JUDGMENT.

 6         (2) THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS shall not run against a judg-

 7    ment during the time it is payable in installments as provided in

 8    this chapter.
