ENROLLED SENATE BILL No. 637
AN ACT to amend 1991 PA 179, entitled ''An act to regulate and insure the availability of certain telecommunication services; to prescribe the powers and duties of certain state agencies and officials; to prescribe penalties; to repeal certain acts and parts of acts; and to repeal this act on a specific date,'' (MCL 484.2101 to 484.2604) by adding section 375.
The People of the State of Michigan enact:
Article 3B
Federal Programs
Sec. 375. All providers of telecommunications services within this state that receive federal universal service support for telecommunications services provided to eligible elementary and secondary schools, under the telecommunications act of 1996, Public Law 104-104, 110 Stat. 56, shall provide those intrastate services at discounts equal to the discounts applicable for eligible interstate services.
This act is ordered to take immediate effect.
