ENROLLED HOUSE BILL No. 4814
AN ACT to authorize the department of state police to convey certain state owned property in Iron county; to prescribe conditions for the conveyance; and to provide for the disposition of revenue derived from the conveyance.
The People of the State of Michigan enact:
Sec. 1. The department of state police, on behalf of the state, may convey to Iron county, for the consideration of $1.00, property located in the Bates township, Iron county, Michigan, and described as follows:
A parcel of land lying in the N1/2 of the SW1/4 of Section 22, Township 43 North, Range 34 West, described as follows:
Commencing at the West quarter-corner of said Section 22, Township 43 North, Range 34 West; thence South 62 degrees 45' East a distance of 1128.54 feet to the point of beginning; thence North 88 degrees 51' East a distance of 350.00 feet; thence South 1 degree 09' East a distance of 400.00 feet to the North right-of-way line of U.S. 2; thence South 88 degrees 51' West along the North right-of-way line of U.S. 2 a distance of 350.00 feet; thence North 1 degree 09' West a distance of 400.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Sec. 2. The conveyance authorized by this act shall be by quitclaim deed approved by the attorney general.
Sec. 3. The revenue received under this act shall be deposited in the state treasury and credited to the general fund.
This act is ordered to take immediate effect.
