ADDENDUM TO SENATE FISCAL AGENCY ANALYSIS OF SB 627 DATED 4-26-00:

HOUSE COMMITTEE ACTION:

The Senate Fiscal Agency analysis dated 4-26-00 reflects the content of the bills as they were reported from the House Committee on Tax Policy.

The Tax Policy Committee adopted an amendment for Senate Bill 627 that removed the reference to the leasing of aircraft. The committee adopted an amendment to Senate Bill 630 that removed a provision dealing with the laundering of textiles used in providing dental services. These provisions had been adopted in the Senate after the preparation of the SFA analysis.

POSITIONS:

A representative of the Department of Treasury testified that the department is neutral on the bills as currently written. (5-30-00)
