A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4028 AS INTRODUCED 1-26-99


House Bill 4028 would amend the Michigan Election Law to require that the statewide presidential primary be conducted on the second Tuesday in February in each presidential election year. Currently the presidential primary is scheduled for the third Tuesday in March.
