A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4370 AS INTRODUCED 3-3-99


The bill would amend the Freedom of Information Act to exempt public school information or records that would identify ("reveal identifying information") a public school student (including students' names, addresses, telephone numbers, and photographs) from the act's public record disclosure requirements. Exempted information would include information in public school directories.
