A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4865 AS INTRODUCED 9-28-99

House Bill 4865 would amend the Michigan Vehicle Code to require that any trailer or semitrailer operated on a highway that has a gross weight of 10,000 pounds or more be equipped with brakes operating on all wheels and designed to be applied by the driver of the towing motor vehicle from its cab.
