A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5582 AS INTRODUCED 4-13-00


The act would amend Public Act 313 of 1929, which authorizes the Department of Agriculture to take steps to control the fungus disease known as the White Pine Blister Rust, caused by the organism Cronartium ribicola Fischer. The bill would delete language authorizing the director of the department to promulgate rules under the act.
