Changes from FY 1999-2000 Senate-Passed:
  • Language Agreement. The House inserted language for Year 2000 compliance (Sec. 213), retention of reports required under the act (Sec. 308), internal audit procedures report (Sec. 310), public Internet access to departmental reports (Sec. 311), and deleted notification on privatization efforts (Sec. 226) and reports on personal services contracts (Sec. 227).
  • Community Corrections. The House removed language from both the current year supplemental and the Fiscal Year 1999-2000 appropriation to limit expenditures for probation residential center operations and construction in counties with a population between 281,000-282,000. (Sec. 806 and 1502)
