CONTENT


The bill would amend the Michigan Vehicle Code to repeal the April 1, 2002, sunset date on the Code's graduated license provisions.


Specifically, the bill would delete the sunset date in the following provisions on: the issuance of an original operator's license that designates level 1, 2, or 3 of the graduated licensing system (MCL 257.306(2)), approval of a minor's application for an operator's license (MCL 257.308(1)), graduated licensing (MCL 257.310e(16)), and the issuance of points for certain violations of the graduated licensing provisions (MCL 257.320a(1)(m)).
