CONTENT
The bill would repeal Section 3 of Chapter 12 of the Revised Statutes of 1846, which allows the Governor to appoint a private secretary to keep a correct record of all executive proceedings and decisions; and to appoint an executive clerk to assist in the conduct of business of the executive department at the salary of $1,500 per annum.
