CONTENT


The bill would create a new act to name a portion of Highway I-69 the "Pearl Harbor Memorial Highway". The portion named would begin at exit 105 in Shiawassee County and extend east to exit 131 in Genesee County.


The State Transportation Department would be required to provide for the erection of suitable markers indicating the name of the highway only when sufficient private contributions were received to cover the complete cost of erecting the markers.
