        A bill to make appropriations for community and junior colleges for

   the fiscal year ending September 30, 2000; and to provide for the expen-

   diture of the appropriations.

                   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

               1          Sec. 101.  There is appropriated for the community and junior col-

               2     leges subject to conditions set forth in this act, from the general fund

               3     of the state, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2000, the sum of

               4     $                or as much thereof as may be necessary in the following

               5     respective amounts:

               6       TOTAL COMMUNITY AND JUNIOR COLLEGES.................. $

               7          Sec. 201.  In accordance with the provisions of section 30 of arti-

               8     cle IX of the state constitution of 1963, total state spending from state

               9     resources in this appropriations act for the fiscal year ending

              10     September 30, 2000 is $_______________ and state appropriations paid to

              11     units of local government are 0.

               1          Sec. 202.  The appropriations made and expenditures authorized under

               2     this act and the departments, commissions, boards, offices, and programs

               3     for which appropriations are made under this act are subject to the man-

               4     agement and budget act, 1984 PA 431, MCL 18.1101 to 18.1594.
