        A bill to make appropriations for the judicial branch for the fiscal

   year ending September 30, 2001; to provide for the expenditure of these

   appropriations; to place certain restrictions on the expenditure of these

   appropriations; to prescribe the powers and duties of certain officials

   and employees; to require certain reports; and to provide for the dispo-

   sition of fees and other income received by the judicial branch.

                   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

               3          Sec. 101.  There is appropriated for the judicial branch, subject to

               4     the conditions set forth in this act, for the fiscal year ending

               5     September 30, 2001, the following amounts from the funds identified as

               7          Sec. 201.  Pursuant to section 30 of article IX of the state consti-

               8     tution of 1963, total state spending from state sources for fiscal year

               9     2000-2001 is estimated at $__________.00 in this bill and state spending

              10     from state sources paid to local units of government for fiscal year

              11     2000-2001 is estimated at $__________.00.

              12          Sec. 202.  The expenditures and funding sources authorized under

              13     this bill are subject to the management and budget act, 1984 PA 431, MCL

              14     18.1101 to 18.1594.
