A bill to amend 1931 PA 328, entitled "The Michigan penal code," by amending section 34 (MCL 750.34); and to repeal acts and parts of acts. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT: 1 Sec. 34. Immoral advertising--Any A person who shall 2 advertise ADVERTISES in his OR HER own name or in the name of 3 another person, firm, or pretended firm, association, 4 corporation, or pretended corporation, in any newspaper, pam- 5 phlet, circular, periodical, or other written or printed paper, 6 or the owner, publisher, or manager of any newspaper or periodi- 7 cal who shall permit PERMITS to be published or inserted in any 8 newspaper or periodical owned or controlled by him OR HER, an 9 advertisement of the treating or curing of venereal diseases , 10 the restoration of "Lost manhood" or "Lost vitality or vigor", 04200'99 ** SAT 2 1 or shall advertise A PERSON WHO ADVERTISES in any manner that 2 he OR SHE is a specialist in diseases of the sexual organs, or 3 diseases caused by sexual vice, self-abuse, or in any diseases 4 of like cause, or shall advertise ADVERTISES in any manner any 5 medicine, drug, compound, appliance, or any OTHER means whatever 6 whereby THAT CURES OR RELIEVES sexual diseases, of men or women 7 may be cured or relieved, or miscarriage, or abortion produced, 8 shall be IS guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by imprisonment 9 in the county jail OF not more than 1 year or by a fine of not 10 more than 500 dollars $500.00. 11 Enacting section 1.
