HOUSE BILL No. 5633

        A bill to amend 1955 PA 162, entitled

   "An act to provide for the licensing and inspection of agricul-
   tural liming material and to regulate the sale thereof; and to
   prescribe penalties for the violations of the provisions of this
   act,"

   by amending section 8 (MCL 290.538).

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

           Sec. 8.  The director of agriculture  is hereby empowered

 2
      to  SHALL enforce  the provisions of  this act. 
   and to prescribe

 3
      and enforce such rules and regulations, in accordance with Act

 4
      No.  88 of the Public Acts of 1943, as amended, being sections

 5
      24.71 to 24.82, inclusive, of the Compiled Laws of 1948, and Act

 6
      No.  197 of the Public Acts of 1952, as amended, being sections

 7
      24.101 to 24.110, inclusive, of the Compiled Laws of 1948, relat-

 8
      ing to the sale of liming materials as may be deemed necessary to

 9
      carry into effect the full intent and meaning of this act.
