        A bill to amend 1972 PA 295, entitled

   "Forensic polygraph examiners act,"

   (MCL 338.1701 to 338.1729) by adding section 1a.

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

           SEC. 1A.  THIS ACT DOES NOT APPLY TO INSTRUMENTS, DEVICES,

      OR CONDUCT REGULATED UNDER THE COMPUTERIZED VOICE STRESS ANALYZER

 3
      ACT.

           Enacting section 1.  This amendatory act takes effect

 5
      September 1, 2000.

           Enacting section 2.  This amendatory act does not take

 7
      effect unless Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 5662

 8
