   (MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 21053g.

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

           SEC. 21053G.  SECTION 2213C OF THE INSURANCE CODE OF 1956,

      1956 PA 218, MCL 500.2213C, APPLIES TO A HEALTH MAINTENANCE

 3
      ORGANIZATION.

           Enacting section 1.  This amendatory act takes effect on

 5
      January 1, 2001.

           Enacting section 2.  This amendatory act does not take

 7
      effect unless Senate Bill No. _____ or House Bill No. 5884

 8
      (request no. 06061'00) of the 90th Legislature is enacted into

 9
      law.
