        A bill to name a certain portion of highway M-59 the "Korean

   War 50th Anniversary Memorial Highway"; and to prescribe certain

   duties of the state transportation department.

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

           Sec. 1.  That portion of highway M-59 beginning at the

      county line of Livingston and Oakland counties and extending west

 3
      to termination shall be named the "Korean War 50th Anniversary

 4
      Memorial Highway".

           Sec. 2.  The state transportation department shall only pro-

 6
      vide for the erection of suitable markers indicating the name of

 7
      the highway when sufficient private contributions are received to

 8
      completely cover the cost of erecting those markers.
