SENATE BILL NO. 95 January 26, 1999, Introduced by Senator BULLARD and referred to the Committee on Transportation and Tourism. A bill to designate the part of highway M-5 located in the area lying between the interchange of highways I-96, I-696, and I-275 and 8 Mile road in the city of Farmington Hills and the city of Farmington as the "William Deacon Memorial highway"; and to prescribe the duties of the state transportation department. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT: 1 Sec. 1. The part of highway M-5 located in the area lying 2 between the interchange of highways I-96, I-696, and I-275 and 8 3 Mile road in the city of Farmington Hills and the city of 4 Farmington shall be known as the "William Deacon Memorial 5 highway". 6 Sec. 2. The state transportation department shall provide 7 for the erection of suitable markers at the approach to the part 8 of the highway described in section 1 indicating the name of that 9 part of the highway. 00173'99 Final page.
