SENATE BILL No. 910

A bill to designate the Bristol road overpass that spans the

railroad tracks located on Michigan highway M-121 in Genesee

county as the "Preston Schmidt Overpass"; and to prescribe the

duties of the state transportation department.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

1 Sec. 1. The Bristol road overpass that spans the railroad

2 tracks located on Michigan highway M-121 in Genesee county shall

3 be known as the "Preston Schmidt Overpass".

4 Sec. 2. The state transportation department shall only pro-

5 vide for the erection of suitable markers at the approach to the

6 overpass indicating the name of the overpass when sufficient pri-

7 vate contributions are received to pay the cost of erecting those

8 markers.
