A bill to authorize the department of management and budget

to convey certain state owned property in the county of Jackson

in exchange for certain other property in the county of Jackson.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

1 Sec. 1. The department of management and budget, on behalf

2 of the state, may convey to the city of Jackson, in exchange for

3 property of approximately equal value described in section 2,

4 certain state owned property located in the county of Jackson and

5 described as follows:

6 A parcel of state owned property located in the city of

7 Jackson that is bordered by Francis street and Cooper street.

8 Sec. 2. The property to be conveyed to the state in

9 exchange for the property described in section 1 is located in

10 the city of Jackson, county of Jackson, Michigan, and more

11 particularly described as follows:

1 Three parcels of property owned by the city of Jackson that

2 are bordered by Hupp avenue, Louis Glick highway, East Michigan

3 avenue, Cooper street, and Columbus street.

4 Sec. 3. The conveyances authorized by this act shall be by

5 quitclaim deed approved by the attorney general.
