AN ACT to designate the Bristol road overpass that spans the railroad tracks located on Michigan highway M-121 in Genesee county as the "Preston Schmidt Overpass"; and to prescribe the duties of the state transportation department.
The People of the State of Michigan enact:
Sec. 1. The Bristol road overpass that spans the railroad tracks located on Michigan highway M-121 in Genesee county shall be known as the "Preston Schmidt Overpass".
Sec. 2. The state transportation department shall only provide for the erection of suitable markers at the approach to the overpass indicating the name of the overpass when sufficient private contributions are received to pay the cost of erecting those markers.
This act is ordered to take immediate effect.
