ADDENDUM TO SENATE FISCAL AGENCY ANALYSIS OF SB 184 DATED 5-24-01:
HOUSE COMMITTEE ACTION:
The House Committee on Civil Law and the Judiciary amended the bill to specify that the exemption from liability for physician's assistants in an emergency situation would not apply unless the response by the physician's assistant was within the scope of the PA's license or within his or her expertise or training.
