ADDENDUM TO SENATE FISCAL AGENCY ANALYSIS OF SB 1232 DATED 5-8-02:
HOUSE COMMITTEE ACTION:
The House Transportation Committee adopted Substitute H-1 for Senate Bill 1232. The H-1 Substitute is a "conflict substitute," a new version of the bill that was drafted by the Legislative Service Bureau in order to bring Senate Bill 1232 into conformity with an earlier bill, House Bill 5504, concerning the regulation of hazardous waste that was recently enacted into law as Public Act 259 of 2002.
POSITIONS:
The Office of the Secretary of State supports the bill. (5-22-02)
