A REVISED SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4238 AS INTRODUCED 2-14-01
The bill would amend a section of the Michigan Election Law dealing with electronic voting systems to require that, for partisan candidates, the typeface used to print the political party designation for each candidate listed on the ballot be at least 12-point typeface or the same size used for the candidate's name, whichever was smaller.
(An electronic voting system is one in which votes are recorded and counted by electronic tabulating equipment, including a punch card system.)
