House Bill 6151 would amend the Highway Advertising Act of 1972 to add a section that would prohibit a billboard from advertising an adult entertainment establishment, beginning January 1, 2003. The bill specifies that a person who violated this prohibition would be responsible for a civil fine of not less than $5,000 or more than $10,000 for each day of violation. A civil fine collected would be distributed to public libraries.
