CONTENT
The bill would amend the Public Health Code to allow a nursing home to use the following in its name: "health center", "health care center", or a term that conveyed a meaning substantially similar to those terms, as long as the term did not conflict with those prohibited by the Code.
Under the Code, a nursing home is prohibited from using a name that includes the terms "hospital", "sanitarium", "rehabilitation center", or a term conveying a meaning substantially similar to those words.
