        A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled

   "Natural resources and environmental protection act,"

   by amending section 82131 (MCL 324.82131), as added by 1995 PA

   58.

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

           Sec. 82131.  (1) A person shall not operate a snowmobile

 2
      without displaying a lighted headlight and a lighted taillight.

      HOWEVER, THE HEADLIGHT SHALL NOT BE COVERED WITH A RED OR BLUE

 4
      LENS CAP.

           (2) This section does not apply to a snowmobile of a model

 6
      year 25 years old or older.
