        A bill to amend 1895 PA 215, entitled

   "The fourth class city act,"

   by amending section 4 (MCL 102.4).

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

             Sec. 4.  The council may cause all public streets, alleys,

 2
        and public grounds to be surveyed, and may determine and estab-

 3
        lish  the  THEIR boundaries  thereof,  and cause  the
     THOSE sur-

 4
        veys and descriptions  thereof  to be recorded in the office of

 5
        the city clerk, in a book  or  OF street records; and they shall

 6
        cause surveys and descriptions of all streets, alleys, and public

 7
        grounds opened, laid out, altered, extended, or accepted and con-

 8
        firmed by the council, to be recorded in like manner; and  such

 9
        THAT record shall be prima facie evidence of the existence of

10
         such  THOSE streets, alleys, or public grounds as in the records

11
        described.  Every resolution or ordinance discontinuing or

        vacating any street, alley, or public ground  ,  shall also be

 2
        recorded in  said  THE book of street records, and the record

 3
        shall be prima facie evidence of all the matters  therein  set

 4
        forth IN THAT BOOK, and a true copy of every resolution or ordi-

 5
        nance, containing an accurate description of the lands comprising

 6
        any street, alley, or public ground, laid out, altered, extended,

 7
        discontinued, or vacated  thereby,  shall be recorded in the

 8
        office of the register of deeds for the county  wherein said

 9
        WHERE THOSE lands are situated, and shall thereafter be filed in

10
        the office of the  auditor general  STATE TREASURER.
