        A bill to amend 1945 PA 327, entitled

   "Aeronautics code of the state of Michigan,"

   by amending section 35 (MCL 259.35).

               THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

             Sec. 35.   Appropriation.  There is  hereby  appropriated

 2
        all  moneys which are now  MONEY in and currently credited to the

 3
         "state aeronautics fund,"  STATE AERONAUTICS FUND CREATED UNDER

 4
        SECTION 34, for carrying out the purposes and provisions of this

 5
        act, and to meet the expenses of the department.  of

 6
        aeronautics.  The auditor general is hereby authorized to draw

 7
        his  UPON APPROPRIATION, THE STATE TREASURER MAY DRAW A warrant

 8
        upon the state treasury  in payment of such sums and to such per-

 9
        sons as  TO MAKE PAYMENTS IN THE AMOUNTS AND TO THE PERSONS AS

        DIRECTED BY the department  of aeronautics shall direct,  subject

11
        to  the  approval and release by the state administrative board

        of  such sums so authorized:  Provided, That none of  the

 2
        AUTHORIZED AMOUNTS.  HOWEVER, funds  herein  appropriated  or

 3
        hereafter  UNDER THIS SECTION OR SUBSEQUENTLY made available

 4
        shall NOT be expended upon any aviation project  which  THAT is

 5
        not carried out under the supervision and direction of the

 6
        department.  of aeronautics.
