A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5914 AS INTRODUCED 5-18-04

The bill would amend the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act to require the exterior surfaces of portable hunting blinds to be “hunter orange” in color.  Consistent with other hunter orange provisions, the requirement would not apply to persons hunting deer with a bow during the archery deer season, persons taking bear with a bow, or persons taking waterfowl, crow, or turkey.
